assured that Metal Pass would never willfully share your personal information
with any third-party without your permission. We understand the trust you have

Registration Form
Information is collected from the consumer through registration form.
Applicants submit their name, address, company, e-mail address, etc., along
with other demographic information and optional questions. Contact information
from the registration forms is used to ship purchases, for our internal
reference, or for statistics purpose, to better serve you. The customer's
contact information is also used to get in touch with the customer when
necessary. Some business applications may use information collected from
registration form as your input when you submit your listings (such as some
For-Sale or To-Buy listings). This is to save your time so that you don't have
to re-enter your contact information as you submit multiple listings.
Cookies
Cookies are used to keep track of log-in names and passwords, or for some
engineering applications to save temporary metal engineering data. We use
session, and thus temporary cookies to establish a session ID, to maintain web
functionality, such as your login ID when you move from page to page.
Information such as IP address, internal session ID, user's domain, type of
internet browser, domain of web site may be collected and used only for traffic
auditing and analyzing trends.
Advertising
MetalPass.com is a site offering online resources and services (solutions). As
a partially free website, Metal Pass needs to derive its revenue from
advertising and other partnerships. Members' personal information may be
aggregated and statistics may be provided to advertisers and partners so they
can realize the quantity and quality of our audience and choose Metal Pass as a
key advertising channel. We may use outside advertising companies to supply
advertisements on this site. Sometimes these advertisements may contain
cookies. Cookies from banner advertisements, if any, are collected by
advertising companies, and we have no access to, nor control of the use of,
this information.
External Links
As one of our service, Metal Pass provide links for you to other resource
sites. We also provide sponsored links in the "Sponsored Links" section. We
have no control, nor knowledge, and therefore not responsible for the privacy
practices or the content of the external sites.
Special Relationships
We have special relationships and partnerships with various sites. Some of your
payment activities are performed at PayPal's website. Any information you
provide for PayPal is under their control, not us; and we usually don't have
access to it. We may conduct business cooperation with some partners, such as
to provide some links to our partners' sites or products. As long as you have
left MetalPass.com, we are not responsible for other sites' privacy policy.
Metal Pass is not responsible for the goods, services and information that
marketing partners provide, since the transaction is not performed in
MetalPass.com.
Security
Only selected personnel has access to member information. This website is
hosted with a hosting company, and its authorized personnel occasionally
have access to member information for database maintenance or improvements. In
order to ensure security and protection of collected information, all Metal
Pass employees are aware of our security policy and practices. Web security is
constantly reviewed. Any loss, misuse, or alteration of information is
prohibited followed by appropriate action and termination of employment. This
is to uphold our promise to our clients, affiliate members, and property
users.
Delete/Deactivate
"Deactivating" refers to the process by which Personally Identifiable
Information, upon request, is removed. Because of backups and records of
deletions, it may be impossible to delete a consumer's entry without some
residual information. An individual who requests to have Personally
Identifiable Information deactivated will be functionally deleted. We will not
use or transfer the information relating to a deleted individual in any way. To

Correct and Update Information
Personal information collected through Metal Pass may be corrected or updated
through various methods. All information may be updated by contacting Metal
Pass staff either through e-mail or postal mail. All changes may be sent to
Metal Pass by sending e-mail to
admin@metalpass.com. Depending on availability, update of the
information may also be completed through online form.
