our site is the solid foundation
for the

Resource. Metal Pass
Resource provides over 40,000
pages of resources.
Besides technical
articles, there
are a long list of resource
applications, which are all the
largest of the types in the
metal industry. They include
Metal Directory,
Software Directory,
Metal Dictionary - Tech Terms,
Metal Dictionary - Translation,
Flow Stress,
High Temperature Properties, etc. Up to now, technical resources have been collected
from Germany, USA, Canada, China, Japan, etc.,
in four languages that our team
speaks. More data will be uploaded soon,
for example, those newly
collected over
10,000 pages on
steel mill automation and
computer application.
Solution. Metal Pass
Solution provides both Mill
Software and
Mill Consulting services.
For Mill Software, we have
strategically selected three
key areas for software
development:
Roll Pass,
Mill Automation and
Mill ERP. Our work includes
development on mill applications, remote
system diagnosis and
improvement (for both Level 3
and Level
2). There are several suites of
applications hosted on this
site, such as those for
roll pass design ,
mill load calculation, finite-differential
temperature
prediction, and
so on.
Metal Pass Consulting is
dedicated to the improvement of
steel rolling mill productivity,
efficiency and product quality. As example, we
listed
108 mill projects completed
in recent years.
EBiz. With the largest
metal technology website and one
of the most popular internet
presences in the metal industry,
Metal Pass LLC is actively
engaging metal/steel-related
technological E-Business.
Several business suites are
under testing, such as

R&D Profile

As a very special effort, we are
building an EBiz empire with a
core site (www.metalpass.com)
surrounded by about 200 metal-related
satellite websites, by utilizing
about
200 metal-related domain names
that Metal Pass owns. Commercial
activities would be conducted in
the core site and the satellite

Web design and software development have been performed
with Microsoft. Net, the most current and most powerful development environment
for both Windows- and web-based applications. We use Microsoft SQL server 2000
as backend.
