Temperature control is the center of the modern rolling process optimization in balancing product quality, formability and power requirement. This application uses finite-differential method (FDM) to determine temperature field over the rod cross section during rolling, water box cooling and controlled/free air cooling. A demo on water box cooling is also available. [This application is currently in its beta version 0.2.2]
